It is rarely just the proposal, the follow-up, the price, or the timing. Those things may be part of the conversation, but they are often not the real reason a serious opportunity stops moving.
In many founder-led businesses, the real issue sits underneath the visible sales process. It shows up in how the opportunity is being read, how the team is responding, how the buyer is making sense of risk, and sometimes in what the founder is unintentionally bringing into the room.
That is the part most people miss.
